Improving Nevada’s infrastructure is the cornerstone of my campaign. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with major coursework in Geology, and have several years of experience leading a transportation coalition of public and private entities seeking to improve the region’s transportation planning. I’m uniquely suited and fully believe in the need to strengthen our state’s infrastructure.
Unfortunately, Nevada’s infrastructure has been constantly and consistently neglected by our state representatives. Roads and bridges are becoming dangerous because maintenance is often deferred. It’s no secret that deferring maintenance and infrastructure puts Nevadans at great risk as they travel daily.
The COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the need for infrastructure improvements as interstate commerce and transportation have become strained, yet increased use from eCommerce and our reliance on deliveries.
None of my opponents have even attempted to address this issue or even consider it a problem. Although the topic of infrastructure does not enter the national conversation at the frequency that topics like gun control and the economy do, it is by far one of the most important issues facing Nevada.
