We need public policies that actually address the real challenges and wants facing American families. Providing tax credits for caregivers of the elderly, disabled or special needs family members can greatly help families in difficult circumstances. Removing roadblocks for adoption or fostering can help take care of the most vulnerable in our society. We must promote and support the most important unit in our society: the family.
