As a mother and wife, strengthening the American family is not just another cliche, empty promise that lawmakers make; it’s something I whole-heartedly believe in and work on everyday. To truly make the families across our great nation stronger, we must acknowledge our aging and disabled populations and work to find creative, new ways to support them as well as their caregivers. Nevada needs public policies that support families in difficult situations.
We must also remove the roadblocks for adoption and foster care. Nevada must do more to protect the most vulnerable members of its society: children and the elderly.
Nevada needs leaders that will fight to protect an essential unit in our society: the family.
